Wolf People, a business which keeps and breeds wolves, on Highway 95, near Cocolalla is home for several wolves, but one arctic wolf “Cryco” dug under the fence and escaped in late June.

There have been multiple wolf sightings of Cryco, with the most recent being early September, but with the wolf being unafraid of people and being white, his greatest threat must surely come from a hunter with a gun.

Authorities are actively searching for Cryco, and wolf handlers from Wolf People insist that Cryco is not a threat to anyone, describing him as a “nice wolf.”

Hopefully, Cryco will get picked up by a “nice person” and get returned home safe and sound.
