Gray wolf trapped outside Rochester, Minn, released

An article which marginalized the potential injuries traps can cause says that the wolf has been released back in to the wild with “a sore paw.”

While the trap in this case may have been relatively tame, many animals lose limbs, and their lives, when they become the unintended target of a leg trap.

Associated Press — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has released a gray wolf that was trapped just outside of Rochester.

A coyote trapper found the wolf in his trap over the weekend. Except for a sore paw, the animal was released unharmed into the wild…
