The Denali wolves are subject to many studies, but one of the most recent shows that wolves will resort to eating fish in areas where their more traditional prey is only available in limited numbers.

Alaskan officials aren’t pleased that the National Park Service has closed sport wolf hunting and trapping  in Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve. 

According to the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game has taken to the air in planes and helicopters to track and kill wolves in Fortymile area.
