 As Wyoming fights to join Montana and Idaho in getting its gray wolves removed from the endangered species list, a new report indicates that its cattle have fared better with the predator.

There are many things which the candidates for Park County commissioner disagree on, but one area they have determined it is politically expedient to agree on is their support of the Wyoming wolf plan.

Wolf #690 was the last known member of the Druid Peak pack wolf known to have survived the collapse of her once powerful and popular Yellowstone Park pack.

According to an article which appeared on the Billings Gazette, 150 people showed up - significantly made up of hunters and outfitters - for a rally in Cody to protest the fact that Wyoming does not have control of the wolf management.

Brett French, writing for the Billings Gazette reports a survival analysis report for Idaho, Wyoming and Montana shows that while mortality rates are at 25 percent with most of that being caused by humans, wolves are overall doing well.

After being blamed for killing miniature horses, Montana authorized the killing of the Superior wolf pack.
