Luck favored a pack of wolves featured on a show called “Frozen Planet” – both in terms of apparently avoiding serious injury after trying to hunt a herd of bison, but also in the way that their hunt ended successfully.

Alladale Estate had their license approved to reintroduce wolves to a secured area – but have delayed their plans in the interests of the welfare of the proposed wolves.

The BBC is reporting that Sweden may have killed as many as two-thirds of their wolf hunt quota, and injured several more, on the day of their wolf hunt.
