A new greeting card is available to be sent through HOWLColorado.org – featuring Keara, a beautiful wolf.

The Center for Biological Diversity has filed a law suit which they hope will remove bureaucratic red tape which has been hampering the Mexican Gray Wolf recovery project.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Defenders of Wildlife had initially combined to offer a $6,500 reward for information about the poaching of a wolf in Ontonagon County, Michigan – an anonymous doner has increased that reward.

HOWLColorado has added the ability to send a free e-card to anyone who can receive an e-mail.

The Center for Biological Diversity served notice of a lawsuit – targeting the failure of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to respond to a petition - with a filing on Friday, November 20.

The Mexican gray wolves – which the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is fortunate enough to have two of – got positive news after the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service took over control of the highly endangered species.
