Idaho’s wolves are under fire, and the bullets claimed an increased amount of wolf lives this week. Almost half the wolf killing zones have now seen their first blood.

Idaho’s hunt has claimed 10 wolves so far, though only 4 counted towards the 165 quota.

Montana’s hunt has claimed a single wolf, which leaves 40 more to fill their quota. The wolf was killed in one of the largest wolf killing zones in the state, zone 390.

A couple of weeks in, we have seen 11 wolves killed, and an increase from four in a seven day period up to seven.
