Reward offered as authorities investigate wolf killings in Montana

One wolf was found dead along the Coal Creek Road; a second was recovered in the Miller Creek area.

Kent Laudon, a wolf management specialist for Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, who is not part of the investigation, said the wolves were members of two different packs.

Both animals, which were discovered Nov. 6, died of gunshot wounds, according to officials. A special agent based in Great Falls is investigating the deaths…
