Mission: Wolf makes news during East Coast road trip

History portrays wolves as snarling, foaming at the mouth, evil bloodthirsty killers.

But Magpie and Abraham didn’t quite match that description as they interacted with students and faculty at Corning Community College on Wednesday.

Magpie, an 8-year-old female gray wolf, and Abraham, a wolf-dog hybrid, were snout-to-face with their audience at one of two scheduled stops in the Corning area on Wednesday.
