Gubernatorial candidate: Wyoming must adapt

Regardless of an individual’s belief in the validity of global warming, more people, including regulators, are becoming more convinced by the day, Petersen said. That mass of believers is what will force Wyoming to change or risk being shut out of the national and world economy.

“Wyoming must adapt to the new world,” Petersen said. “There is no question that we will be dependent on coal for a very long time.”

That is why the former leader of the Wyoming Democratic Party said Wyoming must get ahead of trends. The state must quickly find and embrace new technologies that will ensure the economic future of the state…
