Alladale Estate had their license approved to reintroduce wolves to a secured area – but have delayed their plans in the interests of the welfare of the proposed wolves.
An estate has shelved a plan to introduce four wolves from Romania into a secure area.
Alladale Estate, at Ardgay in Sutherland, said the proposal had been dropped in the interests of the animals’ welfare.
