After the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service warned Alaska not to trespass, which would have been the ultimate result of the proposed wolf cull on Unimak Island, the state has responded by filing a lawsuit against the Federal government.

A radio-collared female wolf, which was providing important statistical information, was struck and killed by a car. She was not only scientifically important, but also a mother.

Wildlife Service agents have been given permission to kill two wolves who have been blamed for killing 11 sheep in the Boise Foothills.

The WildEarth Guardians are asking Ken Salazar to come back to Colorado – by resigning his position as Interior Secretary and allow someone to take the job who does more than “wear a cowboy hat and talk tough in front of cameras.”

Arabian wolves are extinct in the United Arab Emirates, but the Sharjah Desert Park is now home to three of these endangered wolves.
