According to a report from the Associated Press, representatives from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and the National Park Service met in Anchorage to work through an incident where four wolves were killed near the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve.

Two of those wolves were collared and part of a long-term scientific study.

The result of the meeting was a pledge from the State and Federal groups saying they will work closer together to avoid similar incidents in the future.
