Americans rarely hear such things from hunters here, but a German hunting group is telling Bavarians to relax after a wolf was spotted in their area.

According to an article on thelocal website dedicated to German news, Kornder – leader of OJV ecological hunters’ association – said:

“It’s a fascinating occurrence when the big predators return. We should be happy that it’s happening.”

It is accepted that wolves pose a threat to domestic animals and livestock, but Kornder says there is reimbursement available for livestock loss and tools such as electrified fences which can be used to protect livestock.
