For those who have seldom given thought to the great carnivores so often missing from the web of life, here is a world of reason to think again.

Following in the footsteps of wolves and cougars, and the scientists working to understand their place in the rapidly changing world of nature, award-winning filmmakers Karen and Ralf Meyer have captured the carnivores’ ongoing drama in their new documentary, LORDS OF NATURE: Life in a Land of Great Predators. Narrated by Peter Coyote, this captivating documentary goes behind the scenes with leading scientists to explore the role top carnivores play in restoring and maintaining ecosystems and biodiversity.

When:  Tuesday, January 26th, 6-8 pm
Where: Duane Physics Building, Room number G1B20
University of Colorado at Boulder campus
Cost:    Free

There will be a Q & A discussion panel immediately following the film featuring Wendy Keefover Ring, Carnivore Project Director of WildEarth Guardians, Andy Duffy, branch manager from Lasater Grasslands Beef, and Dennis Buechler, Wildlife Commissioner from the National Wildlife Federation.
