The International Wolf Center (www.wolf.org) posted the following summary of the status of the Mexican Wolf Reintroduction Project.

ontana Fish, Wildlife and Parks posted an update on their website regarding the filing of their legal arguments against the re-listing of gray wolves in the northern Rocky Mountain.

Isabel Barja, a Spanish biologist published a new study in Wildlife Biology which reveals the feeding preferences of wolves.

  Ralph Maughan, on his well respected blog, reports the aerial shooting of a pack of Idaho wolves.

The International Wolf Center is maintaining a blog – Wolves of the High Arctic – Research on the Arctic Wolves of Ellesmere Island – from researchers tracking Brutus, the “North Pole wolf” and his pack.

The Green Bay Press Gazette is reporting that a Wisconsin man has admitted to killing a Michigan wolf.

Maria Ferguson, of the Wolf Howl Animal Preserve, has been involved with an initiative which could place orphaned wolf pups in Alaska at authorized, approved sanctuaries around the country.
